This fall, Georgia State’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute collaborated with Georgia Tech’s Office of Undergraduate Education for Student Innovation and Research to host a virtual workshop series designed for student and alumni entrepreneurs from both institutions. GUEI: Adapting Entrepreneurship Programs for Distance Learning
Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, the semi-annual Georgia University Entrepreneurship Initiative (GUEI) was hosted virtually on April 22, 2020. A committee consisting of educators, administrators and entrepreneurial ecosystem builders representing Georgia State University, Emory University, Georgia Tech, Kennesaw State University, Morehouse University, University of Georgia, Startup Atlanta, TiE Atlanta and ATDC hosted the virtual event.
CEOs at GSU Host InterConnect Virtual Conference
Over 300 people connected through this large-scale virtual event. Entrepreneurs were encouraged to continue to connect and help each other grow, regardless of where they may be across the globe. Entrepreneurs, both young and old, heard from seven guest speakers who came from a variety of industries and offered their personal experiences and expert advice.
ENI Welcomes Admitted Students Virtually
On Wednesday, April 22, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) held a virtual information session in partnership with the University’s Welcome Center. Newly admitted students and their parents joined the webinar to learn about the resources and unique opportunities offered to student-entrepreneurs enrolled at Georgia State.
