Homecoming week is a festive time at GSU, when our campus is the most decorated, and students are the most decorated in GSU fashion. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute marked the occasion by throwing an in-office homecoming party. The party featured swag items provided by Georgia State Athletics department, which included Homecoming helmets, towels, temporary tattoos, t-shirts, fans, glow sticks and more. The ENI staff also enjoyed chicken wings, because a football party isn’t a party without wings.
ENI also participated in a homecoming golf cart parade featuring dozens of departments and organizations apart of Georgia State. Staff gathered to decorate the golf cart, with loads of swag items in tow to hand out to onlookers. After dressing the golf cart in pom-poms, balloons, and streamers, the parade began. The faculty handed out glowsticks, cell phone cardholders, ENI t-shirts, foam batons and many more items to the tune of the Marching Band.
The Panthers football team went on to defeat the University of Tennessee at Martin 31-6.
